ADP Java Client
Java Installation Instructions
A workstation must have Java 1.6.0_06. This is the ONLY version of java that will run eTime.
You can download it here:
- http://java.sun.com/products/archive/j2se/6u6/index.html
- Download JRE
- Select offline installation
Java update 1.6.0_07 will attempt to install as an ActiveX control, you cannot use that version. ONLY 1.6.0_06.
ADP Portal should be opened in its own new clean window of Internet Explorer ONLY.
- To ensure this, you can either disable tabbing browsing or
- Create a new shortcut to Internet Explorer and change the properties to show:
- Target should point to "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -new http://portal.adp.com
