Human Resources Introduces PeopleAdmin
The Georgia Southern University Department of Human Resources is pleased to announce the implementation of a new recruitment software, PeopleAdmin. Effective May 12, 2008, all Georgia Southern University staff applicants (internal and external) will apply for vacancies using the new on-line application system, PeopleAdmin.
This cooperative venture promises to streamline internal processes for hiring and providing improved feedback to candidates during the recruitment process.
All current job openings at Georgia Southern University will be posted electronically. Candidates can access full job specifications through a broad search or narrow their choices by category or job title. Applicants will be able to complete one application for more than one job opening simultaneously.
For walk-in candidates, the Department of Human Resources offers computers where candidates can complete the online form. With the implementation of PeopleAdmin, Georgia Southern University will no longer be accepting fax, email, or hard copies of resumes and applications.
