On Campus Employment
Follow these simple steps in order to apply and search for on campus positions
- Go to the Career Site for Georgia Southern University on the SEC web page

- Create your user log-in and password (do not lose these!) and create your application. Each required field must be completed; Complete as many fields as necessary to ensure your application is a complete as possible. Make sure to list references that are not friends or roommates - they need to be people that can talk about your work ethic. Preferably a previous supervisor or faculty member.
- Search job postings by selecting one of the two following options:
- Institutional Student Assistant (on-campus job for anyone with 6 hours of GSU Credit) OR
- Work Study Student Assistant (only available to those with a work-study authorization form from Financial Aid office).
- Once you have a position you want to apply click on the Apply for this position button and follow the steps through the supplemental questions.
- Upload your Resume as it is a required document.
- Upload other required documents listed in the position description (i.e. class schedules, writing sample, etc.)
- You will receive a confirmation number once you have successfully completed the application process. This number will be useful when you log-in with your username and password to check the status of your application.
Off Campus Employment
Follow these simple steps in order to apply and search for off campus positions
- Click on the link to off campus position listings in the job postings section of the web site

- Review the listing of available positions reading them thoroughly for minimum and preferred qualifications.
- Read the "To apply" section to find out whom to contact for application information and/or questions.
- Off campus postings are offered as a service to on-campus students and vary in number and type throughout the semester.
- Check the site often for new postings.
