Frequently Asked Questions

  1. I registered for a class and haven’t received an email confirmation. Why?
    • Confirmations are sent out electronically to the e-mail address you entered. The Training and Development Office sends out GroupWise reminder appointments. If you wish to attend the training session, select Accept. If you select Decline, that means your name will not be added to the class roster.

  2. Who is eligible to attend Training & Development courses?
    • All GSU campus employees, faculty, and student workers.

  3. Is there a fee for the classes?
    • There are no course fees for GSU employees, faculty members or student workers unless otherwise indicated.

  4. What if I need to cancel?
    • If you are unable to attend a class that you have registered for, please contact the Training and Development at 681-1687.

  5. What if I do not see a class that I am looking for?

  6. Can I receive CEU's for attending a training course?
    • Yes, Georgia Southern University employees and faculty members can receive CEU's for attending training courses offered through the Training and Development Office.

      This does not include professional CEUs such as GA Nurses Association, NASW or LPCA.

      To receive the CEU's, you must complete a form at the conclusion of the course.
