Overview

The office of Compensation Administration coordinates the university’s staff job-classification process.  The Compensation Administration office can assist departments with:

  • Establishment of new staff positions
  • Reclassification of existing positions
  • Update position descriptions on occupied or vacant positions
  • Provide an analysis or recommendation on compensation ranges
  • Establish career paths
  • Conduct Desk Audit
  • Coordinate the university’s participation in comparative external market salary surveys
  • Review and approve salary and equity adjustments
  • Develop job specifications for staff positions
  • Maintain FLSA designations
