| Welcome to the Classification and compensation page. The compensation
program at Georgia Southern University is established with a focus on equity,
meritorious performance and competitiveness. The Department of Human Resources
administers a centralized compensation program for the University insuring
that both federal and state statutory requirements are in compliance and
the Board of Regents compensation philosophy and compensation structure
is maintained. Class title maintenance, job description development, pay
grade levels, salary range structures, salary surveys, compensation consultations,
and position reviews are some of the functions performed within the Classification
and Compensation unit. |
