Eagle Leadership Nomination
Each year there are 20-25 Eagle Leadership participants from both faculty and staff, representing all University divisions.
During the end of November and December, the President’s Cabinet nominates employees and / or faculty members that meet the criteria below:
- Supervisory support role
- Satisfactory performance reviews and attendance records
- Two years in a supervisory or decision-making role in higher education
- An exempt employee up to and including the director level
This program also is appropriate for those making the “academic” to “administrator” transition.
Generally 3-5 employees/faculty members are selected from each respective vice president’s unit. The names are submitted to the Eagle Leadership coordinator, then the selected participants are sent invitations to attend the program.
