Students use their skills to encourage healthy learning and living at Community Health Fair

Community members are invited to make a change to a healthier lifestyle on Saturday, March 1, when Georgia Southern University’s College of Health and Human Sciences and the East Georgia Regional Medical Center co-sponsor a Community Health Fair. The fair will take place at the Medical Center on Fair Road from 8-11:30 a.m. Students from the School of Nursing and the Department of Health and Kinesiology will be available to provide a variety of health screenings including:
  • Bone Density
  • Blood Pressure
  • Pulmonary Function
  • Flexibility and Balance
  • Glucose
  • Stroke
  • Hemoglobin
  • Body Fat Analysis
  • With an appointment, the following screenings are available:
  • Cholesterol
  • Carotid Ultrsound
  • Prostate Exam
  • Diabetic Foot Screening
