Shuey is Georgia Southern University’s Associate Provost for Academic Resource Management. In this role, reporting to the Executive Vice President and Provost, he provides strategic oversight of financial planning, budgeting and resource allocation for Academic Affairs, working closely with academic and administrative leaders to align resources with the University’s mission, enrollment growth and student success. He brings more than 25 years of higher education finance and leadership experience, including prior roles at Appalachian State University, Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania, Gardner-Webb University and Penn State. Shuey is a CPA, holds an MBA from Penn State and is a doctoral candidate at Marshall University.
