The partnership with the Air Force cyberspace organization, which is responsible for defending Air Force cyber assets and strengthening the nation’s ability to withstand and respond to cyber attacks, offers unique research and educational opportunities for Georgia Southern’s students and faculty.
Two members of the Georgia Southern University Office of Leadership and Community Engagement staff, Urkovia Andrews, Dr.P.H., assistant director for service-learning, and Jordan Wilburn, coordinator for community engagement, were recognized at the Downtown Statesboro Development Authority’s (DSDA) annual meeting and Brick Awards. Student musicians on the Georgia Southern University Armstrong Campus will showcase their talents throughout this April. Ghost Runner, an app designed to “gamify” running by encouraging virtual running competitions among friends, was selected for the inaugural Georgia InVenture Prize competition by panelists at the Georgia Southern University Business Innovation Group’s (BIG) annual 3 Day Startup (3DS). The app was designed by four students in the Allen E. Paulson College of Engineering and Computing and three College of Arts and Humanities students.
