Georgia Southern University’s latest Economic Monitor, which reflects Q3 2021, reports that the Savannah metro area economy continued to roar back for the fourth consecutive quarter.

“Nearly all major indicators of regional economic activity increased during the third quarter,” stated Michael Toma, Ph.D., Georgia Southern’s Fuller E. Callaway Professor of Economics. “Tourism indicators led metro growth and skyrocketed for the second consecutive quarter.”

Explore the concept of change in new senior art exhibition on Armstrong Campus

Undergraduate senior art majors on Georgia Southern University’s Armstrong Campus in Savannah present “Change: Subject To Change,” an exhibition that challenges and showcases the concept of change from the perspective of women, media, the coastal environment and representation.

The exhibition, which is free and open to the public, will continue through Nov. 19, weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., in the Fine Arts Gallery. A reception will be held Nov. 19 from 5 to 7 p.m.
