The Remnant Trust Exhibit opens at Georgia Southern Jan. 18

Henderson Library at Georgia Southern has partnered with The Remnant Trust Inc., an educational foundation located at Texas Tech University, to showcase a collection of works including Magna Carta manuscripts, a first edition of Leviathan by Thomas Hobbes (1651) and more, all highlighting individual liberty and human dignity.

Flatbed Picture Planes opens at the Center for Art and Theatre

Georgia Southern University will welcome Nikki Giovanni, world-renowned poet, writer, commentator, activist and educator, to campus on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017. As the University’s 2017 MLK Celebration speaker, Giovanni will present her speech, “The Right to Dream,” for the annual event. Each year, the MLK Celebration provides an opportunity for the campus and local community to gather and celebrate the life and legacy of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
